A Quick Note on Equipment:

You will not need your own equipment for the first month of lessons.

It is extremely important that beginners do not buy equipment without first knowing what to look for and what their needs are.

Expect to spend between $60-$100 on fencing gear within the first 2-6 months. Do not purchase used equipment prior to coming to class.

For now, just bring flat-soled athletic shoes and clothes: no jeans, boots, flip-flops or sandals, some comfortable clothing if you’re a beginner, and a water bottle.

If you’re an experienced martial artist, bring your gear and expect a quick safety check and force calibration with the instructor.
